The Art Of Nice Nasty

Disclaimer. I do not support fighting, it’s stressful and unnecessary. But let’s be real, sometimes you have to fight back, not be a pushover and slap a bitch upside down, I’m just kidding, no slapping involved. But if you’re going to be up in these icy streets fighting, at least never go out of character while doing it. Yes, I have some amazing tips to help you at dealing with conflict without tarnishing your image. Let’s get into it.

Nice-Nasty is a way of responding to conflict or a negative situation in a nice sweet manner but mean enough to fit the other person and make sure the outcome is in your favor while still getting your message across to the other person with clarity and precision.

Especially in social situations where you have to be on your best behavior, it benefits you when you play the game. You just need to rest in the power of your strength and Femininity. Use the same tactics people want to try with you, get better at it and beat them at their own game. It’s a magic formula. Use these tips on people who keep poking at you and trying to pic a fight with you, not those with whom you’re trying to reach an understanding with. Read the situation and I hope you’ll be able to tell the difference, cuz reading the situation or room is another topic in itself. Bottom line, never take the bait.

Nice-Nasty Rules

1.

Never Hit Below The Belt

It’s important that you maintain integrity in everything that you do and this includes fighting kids. Don’t bring in personal issues when engaging in a fight or am argument. Stick to the facts. Stay calm and be cool headed. Be assertive without being aggressive. It will go a long way in leading you to your desired outcome.

2.

Use Sarcasm, Smile & Be Honest

In my opinion the way you say things can make or break a situation. It’s more important how you say what you say than what you actually say. Your tone, facial expression and body language are everything. After all, 80% of communication is non-verbal. Keep a smile on your face, don’t let the anger build up inside you and then explode. Instead use your words, communicate how you’re feeling with intelligence, wit and clarity. Be honest when you need to be.

With these two tips and a shit load of practice, you’ll be able to take on the world! Until next time.

Yours truly, Chalya.
