Some time ago, I had an allergic reaction that caused my skin to break out very badly. All the topical remedies I tried didn’t seem to work well enough and my skin health just kept getting worse over time till I knuckled down and decided to go deep in my research on alternative ways to aid skin issues. The common denominator in all my research was that skin health works best from the inside out and what you put in your body matters just as much as what you put on it. I knew all this in theory but never had the need to put all that knowledge consistently into practice till I started having skin issues.
I developed this recipe and it was one of the biggest contributing factors to the improvements in my skin condition. Try it out and let me know how it works for you and the changes you see!
1 Large Lemon
1 Large Cucumber
1 Large Ginger Root
1 Large Turmeric Root
2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Green Tea Teabags
2 Liters of Water
Fresh Mint Leaves
Chop all ingredients and blend with 500ml of water.
Steep green tea in two cups of boiling water and allow to cool.
Pour blended ingredients and steeped green tea in a lidded container and add remaining water.
Strain and drink throughout the day.
Repeat for 4 days, skip 3 and repeat!
